Calgary Flames’ Jordan Staal: I’m not a bad teammate

Calgary Flames forward Jordan Staals is set to make his first NHL start on Friday night when the Flames take on the New Jersey Devils.

Staals, who has missed three games with a lower-body injury, will face Devils captain Ryan Carter in his first game in the NHL since the end of last season.

The Flames have lost three of their last four games and Staals will have to settle for a fifth-straight winless streak to earn his first start in a Flames uniform since Jan. 28, 2015.

StAals, a third-round draft pick by the Flames in 2016, has missed just one game in each of the last four seasons with a wrist injury that sidelined him for all but two of those games.
